Introducing the new Big Bang MP - 11 in SAXEM

Published in Issue 3 | JANUARY 5, 2020

Known best for their innovative use of materials—starting with the revolutionary application of natural rubber as a strap way back in 1980—Hublot is no stranger to the industrialisation of another such high-tech material: sapphire.

Having used it in many of their iconic pieces from the Big Bang series, their latest rendition joins the MP - 11 collection. Introducing the new Big Bang MP - 11 in SAXEM, aka, sapphire aluminium oxide and rare earth mineral. Limited to 20 pieces, the new launch by the luxury watch brand comes in a bright deep green fully transparent case which houses the manual- winding HUB9011 calibre. The green SAXEM timepiece can be wound up via the large fluted crown fitted with an “endless screw” reminiscent of a Torx-stamped electric pen from the world of motor-racing.
