This feature story celebrates women in whom strength and speed come together. We embark on a series of exclusive interviews with seven extraordinary women, all from different facets of the technology industry who have carved a name for themselves. In a free-wheeling conversation with Jasmine Bedi, Editor-in-Chief of IG Magazine, these iconic female forces recount their inspiring past, as well as their visionary eye for the future.

Jayne Stowell

Nancy Phillips

Nancy is an inspirational leader of the telecom and IT infrastructure industries. Over the last three decades, she has not only started, but led organizations including ViaWest and Shaw Communications Infrastructure Division and continues to serve on numerous local and national boards.

Jennifer Fritzsche

Jennifer is a recognized financial leader in the telecommunications services, fiber and tower sectors. Jennifer has a stellar career record of success in providing thought leadership, strategic vision, and business insight leading to significant business growth and shareholder. value. Amy Marks
CEO, Xsite Modular

Amy is a force in the subsea industry, and recognized as the Queen of Prefab on a global basis by the construction industry. As a thought leader, Amy was appointed by the Government of Singapore to their International Panel of Experts on Construction Productivity, which is now at the forefront in incorporating prefabrication. XSite Modular is a certified Woman-Owned Business.

Fiona Beck
Board Member, Bermuda Business Development Authority

Fiona is a telecommunication and technology leader who has served as a director for several global enterprises and is currently on the Board of the Bermuda Business Development Agency. Fiona is also the current Chairman of SAEx.

Bobbie Kilberg
President & CEO, Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC)

Bobbie can be described as the proverbial ‘epitome of success’ in the Northern Virginia’s technology sector. She has assumed the role of an attorney in private practice and also served four Presidents of the United States.

Barbara Comstock
Senior Advisor, Baker Donelson Law Firm & Congresswoman

Barbara Comstock is a Senior Advisor at Baker Donelson law firm, a recent fellow at Harvard’s Institute of Politics, and the founder of the Young Women’s Leadership Program which will now be housed at the George Mason Schar School of Policy and Government. Ms. Comstock was elected to two terms in Congress for the 10th congressional district in Northern Virginia. As a state delegate, Barbara wrote the law to expand the billion-dollar data center industry.
