Supporting And Being Supported By Artificial Intelligence (AI)

As AI and high-performance computing applications continue to take the world by storm, BDx is focused on finding ways to leverage these technologies to boost the efficiency and performance of their data center services.

AI is an especially useful tool for data centers when it comes to maintenance, monitoring, and (potentially) modifications. For example, AI algorithms can analyze real-time data from various sources within data centers, such as temperature sensors and power usage monitors, to make intelligent decisions and optimize things like power management and resource allocation. With its ability to analyze historical data, identify patterns, and spot potential pain points in the making, it can also also be used for predictive maintenance and early issue detection—both of which can massively increase the reliability of the data center and reduce downtime, failures, and maintenance costs.

BDx is particularly immersed in using AI and machine learning (ML) in their design and operations phases—specifically, to optimize their cooling systems. Using automated sensors, they are able to model current airflow and cooling system behavior and then run a computational fluid dynamic analysis (CFD). Their AI system basically acts like a funnel: it filters through all that data and recommends changes to airflow design and cooling system set-points to enhance performance.

Another key way BDx is engaging with AI relates to energy efficiency. Energy consumption is a major concern for data centers, and AI’s ability to analyze real-time demand patterns allows for dynamic adjustments in resource consumption in order to minimize waste and maximize efficiency. By optimizing energy consumption, data centers can reduce their carbon footprint and contribute to sustainability efforts (not to mention that energy-efficient operations lead to significant cost savings in terms of lower electricity bills and optimized resource utilization). That’s what led to the BDx 360°View platform: BDx wanted to help customers manage hybrid infrastructure in a sustainable way, so the platform enables in-depth predictive insights and visibility over all assets, anywhere, anytime, from any device.

Inishka Mathur AttachmentsMon, Aug 17, 4:31 PM (21 hours ago) to me, Himanshu, Praniti, Vinay Hi Manoj and Himanshu, I had a conversation with a LinkedIn specialist this afternoon, and he suggested adding the LinkedIn Insight Tag code snippet to the footer of the InterGlobix Magazine and IG Group website. This will help us track how much traffic is coming to the website through our LinkedIn Ads and better understand the traction from our campaigns. I’ve included the steps for where the code needs to be added, along with the code snippet below. Please use the provided code as instructed. Code snippet -
