Informal Interactions with Jan Vesely

With so much of your time dedicated to future-proofing companies and benefitting larger communities, how do you make space for your own needs and adding value to your personal life?

I have three small kids, so I try to be home with them every weekend, even if I have to make Heaven and Earth move (or undertake a lot more travel) to do so. I’m also a big biker. I spend some time every summer—usually two weeks in Majorca—biking every mountain they have there. So, I usually peak in July in terms of fitness, and then the rest of the year I kind of degrade, sadly, but I do still bike at home, so that is a big source of energy for me. I’ve also gotten my son into biking with me, even though he’s only eight, and I taught all my kids—ages eight, six, and four—how to ski when they were three. So, that’s another big passion and source of both energy and quality family time for me.

How has your ongoing collaboration and working relationship with Randy helped to achieve the race to scale on an ongoing basis as this partnership has come together?

It’s probably quite shocking, but even with the amount of growth that we’ve had, I think we actually talk every day, sometimes several times. We’re continually asking, “Hey, how can we help each other grow?” It’s really about how we can continue supporting each other and enabling growth more than what you would typically discuss in a shareholder meeting (like “Hey, you missed budget by XYZ”). It’s been a pleasure, I have to say, working with Randy and the larger team. I’ve worked with many companies, and this is an exceptional example of how to collaborate to exceed every kind of expectation every day.

This will help us track how much traffic is coming to the website through our LinkedIn Ads and better understand the traction from our campaigns. I’ve included the steps for where the code needs to be added, along with the code snippet below. Please use the provided code as instructed. Code snippet -
