Collaborations Powering The Future Of Connectivity

The value of working with landing partners, anchor tenants and regional operators to drive impact

TAFS is more than a network—it’s a movement that involves:

  • Bold thinking: challenging industry norms at every stage.
  • Regional commitment: growth, sustainability, and community impact at the heart of every decision.
  • Agility and imagination: rapid adaptation and creative problem-solving.
  • Partnership-driven excellence: partners contributing specialized skills to create a network greater than the sum of its parts.

From geophysical surveys to state-of-the-art optical technology, TAFS and its partners are setting new benchmarks in innovation, resilience, and sustainability. To learn more about how the TAFS’ ecosystem of trusted partners provides for their customers, we spoke to some of TAFS’ major collaborators.

AT&T

“Our relationship with TAFS has been truly exceptional. We have been collaborating with TAFS for a few years now, particularly on the TAM-1 subsea cable project, and this longstanding collaboration has been incredibly beneficial. One of the key reasons we chose TAFS over other network providers in the region is their ability to meet our specific needs. TAFS had a strategic plan for a subsea cable directly to Puerto Rico, which was our primary target. Additionally, TAFS staff includes many individuals with extensive industry experience, including prior projects with AT&T. These established relationships made the decision easier and fostered a sense of trust and familiarity. The TAM-1 system will be instrumental in meeting our connectivity needs. The cable will run directly from the US to Puerto Rico, landing at our cable stations in both locations. This direct access to capacity will streamline our bandwidth delivery. Further, our operational and commercial agreements will allow us to collaborate with TAFS to address any potential issues promptly and efficiently.”
