With a role that involves working at the intersection of so many moving parts, how do you navigate finding balance in your personal life?
Technology moves fast, and leading a platform that’s helping transform an entire industry means there’s always another challenge waiting. I’ve learned that balance isn’t about perfectly dividing time. It’s about being fully present wherever I am.
I genuinely love what I do. I deeply believe in Connectbase’s mission to simplify connectivity and make it easier for businesses to buy, sell, and manage network services. Knowing that the work we’re doing is changing how an entire industry operates gives me a tremendous amount of energy and purpose. It doesn’t feel like just a job. It’s something I care deeply about and feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of.
My wife is a high school math teacher, and she’s my source of reality. She has dedicated her life to our family and to helping her students succeed. She understands why this role means so much to me and why it feeds my soul. At the same time, she also knows when it’s time to step away. She reminds me that the most important investment I can make is in the people I love most.
I also need time outdoors. Whether we’re traveling, hiking, exploring somewhere new, or simply disconnecting for a while, those moments help me recharge and give me perspective. They remind me that while I love my work, my family is what keeps me grounded.
At work, I believe in surrounding myself with talented people and giving them the space to succeed. Building teams that don’t depend on one person creates a healthier organization for everyone. I’ve found that when you’re doing work you truly believe in and you have people at home who keep you grounded, you can give your best to both your career and your family.
