Sophistipcated. Stylish. A Blancpain Classic.

The Air Command chronograph has always been one of the rarest Blancpain timepieces of its era. Launched first in the mid-1950s, the new Air command collection plays off its predecessor with two additional distinct timing modes: a chronograph with flyback function and a countdown bezel.

Paying homage to the spirit of a vintage pilot’s watch, Blancpain’s new Air Command features a flyback chronograph and a countdown-type rotating bezel. The rotating countdown bezel indicates the time remaining until the destination is reached while its numerals or hour-markers run counter-clockwise—unlike those on the bezel of a diver’s watch. The timepiece also comes with a tachymeter scale indicating ground speed, a 30-minute counter with three elongated markers marking three-minute increments and a 12-hour counter.

Available in deep blue reflecting the color of the skies, the Air Command chronograph comes with a fine sunburst pattern dial and Super-LumiNova¨ on the hands and hour-markers. This luminescent material is also found on the watch’s bezel, which incorporates a scratch-resistant ceramic insert matching the dial color.

The 42.5mm timepiece comes in red gold or grade 23 titanium and is water-resistant up to 3 bar (approximately 30 meters).
