John Hewitt
Hewitt joined Vertiv in October 2017 as president of the Americas, with responsibility for the company’s business development and operations in the United States, Latin America and Canada. Hewitt is a global business executive with more than 25 years of experience leading both high-growth and turnaround businesses through multiple market cycles in the technology and industrial markets. He has a track record of consistently delivering strong growth and profitability, while building world-class teams and high-performance cultures.
Prior to joining Vertiv, he held a variety of global P&L, strategy, business development and financial leadership roles within Motorola, TE Connectivity and Aptiv in the United States, EMEA, South America and Asia.
Hewitt earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Oklahoma State University and an MBA in international business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
