To celebrate its 250th anniversary, Breguet expands the Reine de Naples collection with two new references, 9935 and 8925, both unveiled in 18K Breguet gold for the first time. Inspired by the historic wristwatch created between 1810 and 1812 for Caroline Murat, Queen of Naples, the collection continues its tribute to one of watchmaking’s earliest feminine icons.
The Reine de Naples 9935 introduces a reworked movement and a newly enlarged moon phase display. For the first time, the power reserve indicator is removed to achieve greater visual purity, thereby allowing the hours, minutes, small seconds, and moon phase to take center stage. Six pear-shaped diamonds punctuate the gold Arabic numerals while select versions feature a two-level dial that combines blue aventurine glass with Tahitian mother-of-pearl for luminous, celestial depth. A “BREGUET 250 YEARS” engraving and a platinum oscillating weight adorned with the “Petit Trianon” motif mark the anniversary edition.
The Reine de Naples 8925, by contrast, embraces signature minimalism. A self-winding timepiece displaying hours and minutes, it is paired exclusively with a newly designed all-gold bracelet articulated at the snow-set central lug. Three dial variations spanning extra-white mother-of-pearl to lacquered black highlight refined guilloché craftsmanship and a pear-shaped diamond at 12 o’clock.
Together, these new creations reaffirm Breguet’s enduring bond with feminine watchmaking and converging jewelry, history, and horology in timeless elegance.
