EdgeConneX At A Glance

Ingenuity Innovation

A next-generation data center solution built for the world’s most demanding cloud and data center customers, ingenuity offers highly flexible and future-proof architecture for the demands of today and the densities of tomorrow. The ingenuity design philosophy surrounds treating the data center as a facility and backplane infrastructure—an adaptable foundation upon which current and future AI and HPC workloads can operate efficiently. It emphasizes structural resilience, scalable electrical systems, and versatile cooling capabilities, all integrated within a unified framework.

This data center solution is

  • Developed collaboratively with AI leaders;
  • Built for the world’s most demanding deployments; and
  • Designed to support a range of cooling technologies   and evolving density requirements.

Sustainability Spotlight

With an unwavering commitment to supporting our planet as much as our infrastructure and communities, EdgeConneX has won the top data center sustainability rating in Structure Research’s State of the Environmental Impact Report for the last two years. They scored the highest among all providers in operational efficiency.

Partner: RIVER PARTNERS
Case Study: Conserving and Protecting Natural Habitats

Innovative partnerships—particularly those between public and private entities—help to create a more sustainable and resilient future for us all. For instance, EdgeConneX is teaming up with River Partners—a nonprofit organization dedicated to ecological restoration, climate resilience, and thriving communities along major rivers in California—to restore over 350 acres in California’s San Joaquin Valley. The Hidden Valley Ranch project will plant 80,000 native plants, replace water-intensive crops, conserve water, and expand habitats for endangered species like salmon and monarch butterflies. This initiative is just one example of how EdgeConneX is working to be a good neighbor in the communities in which they operate by addressing critical challenges like water conservation, biodiversity, and flood mitigation.

Partner: WATERPLAN
Case Study: Building Water-Resilient Data Centers

The rise of AI workloads adds new complexity to water planning, as they intensify water use per compute unit and make it hard to project long-term demand. To enable its water stewardship commitment, EdgeConneX partnered with Waterplan—an AI-native platform for water-dependent industries—to quantify the volumetric water benefits (VWB) of different projects while tracking project data in order to optimize operations and reduce cost. By leveraging a single dashboard to audit VWB projects, EdgeConneX is transforming water stewardship into a measurable, transparent impact metric.
