Julie Albright

A member of the iMasons Board of Directors for seven years, Dr. Julie Albright brings passion, humor and tremendous motivation for positive impact to the association and the digital infrastructure industry. Julie is a digital sociologist with a deep understanding of how digital technologies and AI impact society. Insights from her research help shape forward-thinking strategies at iMasons to unite the builders of the digital age for a greater digital future. She champions efforts within iMasons and across the industry to foster positive community relations, enhance social equity, build inclusive and resilient environments, and grow the workforce of tomorrow to reflect the world it serves.

Julie holds a master’s degree in social and systemic studies from Nova SouthEastern University and a dual doctorate in sociology and marriage and family therapy from the University of Southern California. She is a lecturer in the departments of Applied Psychology and Engineering at USC, where she teaches master’s level courses on the psychology of interactive technologies and sustainable infrastructure. She is also a trusted advisor to companies and institutions looking to adapt to the rapidly changing and increasingly complex and interconnected digital landscape. Her focus on the future equips organizations with the foresight and strategies to thrive.

In addition, Julie’s book, “Left to their Own Devices: How Digital Natives Are Reshaping the American Dream,” was recognized as a Bloomberg Top 30 Book of the Year and earned her speaking engagements with TEDx, Google Talks, and at leading technology conferences around the world. She is also a co-editor and author of “Greening the Built Environment” and a forthcoming book on the unseen world of the digital transformation.
