Now, for the first time, that language finds mechanical form in the M.A.D.Editions x Yinka Ilori M.A.D.1S “Grow Your Dreams,” a kinetic sculpture for the wrist that celebrates creativity, patience, and possibility.
Limited to three editions—Sun, Nature, and Water—each capped at 400 pieces, the watch pulses with Ilori’s signature vibrancy. Yellow, green, blue, purple, and red collide across mismatched rubber straps and HyCeram bezels, introducing a playful spectrum previously unseen in the M.A.D.Editions’ universe. Beneath the sapphire crystal, the time is displayed on a rotating cylinder, while a reimagined titanium rotor engraved with Ilori’s mantra, “Grow Your Dreams,” spins like a living symbol of growth and resilience.
The movement, Swiss-made by LaJoux-Perret, anchors the watch in serious horological craftsmanship, yet the mood remains anything but conventional. A stamped aluminum baseplate adds texture and dimension, reinforcing the watch’s layered visual depth. Super-LumiNova accents glow like neon brushstrokes after dark.
