WHY: SubOptic 2025 convened the global submarine cable community to tackle key challenges in connectivity, sustainability, and tech innovation. The conference featured masterclasses in marine operations, network security, and wet-plant design, alongside plenary sessions on legal, regulatory, and financing issues framing subsea infrastructure. With over 200 speakers, 50 exhibitors, and nearly 1,100 attendees, the event facilitated critical conversations around environmental sensing, cable system design, and emerging subsea technologies.
