Vacheron Constantin opens a dazzling new chapter for the Overseas collection with its first fully gem-set 35mm self-winding model. Presented in 18K white gold and 18K 5N pink gold, each version is entirely adorned with 1,430 diamonds totaling approximately 12.58 carats, transforming the sporty elegance of the Overseas into a radiant expression of haute joaillerie.
The Maltese cross-inspired bezel is illuminated by 60 invisibly set baguette-cut diamonds—a technically demanding setting that creates a seamless surface where the stones appear to float without visible support. The dial, snow-set with 314 brilliant-cut diamonds, shimmers like a field of light and is punctuated by 12 baguette-cut diamond hour markers. The lugs and bracelet extend this brilliance with 884 brilliant-cut diamonds, each link individually set before assembly.
Powered by the self-winding calibre 1088/1, operating at 4Hz with a 40-hour power reserve, the watch displays hours, minutes, central seconds, and the date. The movement, visible through a sapphire caseback, features refined finishing and a 22K gold rotor adorned with a compass rose.
True to the Overseas spirit, the timepiece offers an interchangeable bracelet and two additional straps—white rubber and colored alligator—that allow one watch to transform effortlessly between three distinct styles.
