InterGlobix Magazine is proud to extend its media partnership with the Internet Ecosystem Innovation Committee (IEIC). At the upcoming IEIC Global NAP Summit 2.0 which will be held on 8th November 2022, IEIC in association with Henrico Economic Development Authority, QTS Data Centers, InterGlobix, and DE-CIX will host a conclave with leaders of the public and corporate sectors in global digital infrastructure. The summit will also feature the ribbon-cutting of DE-CIX Richmond Internet Exchange platform which is the world’s leading data center- and carrier- neutral Interconnection platform.
The second IEIC Global NAP summit will be held after a gap of nearly two and a half years from the inaugural IEIC NAP Summit 1.0 which was held on 7th May 2019. The IEIC Global NAP Summit 2.0 will feature a keynote address from Vint Cerf, ‘Father of the Internet’ and Google’s Chief Internet Evangelist.
The summit will also mark the official opening of DE-CIX Richmond Internet Exchange platform, which is the fifth Internet Exchange in North America. DE-CIX Richmond offers low-latency connectivity between Richmond, New York, Dallas, Phoenix, and Chicago, creating the largest carrier and data center neutral interconnection ecosystem in North America. The DE-CIX interconnection platform also connects the Commonwealth of Virginia to 23 countries across 4 continents.
