WHY: Convergence 2025 was the annual interregional gathering, sponsored by RVA757 Connects, ChamberRVA, and the Hampton Roads Chamber, that brought together senior leaders, policymakers, business executives, and community stakeholders from the Richmond (RVA) and Hampton Roads (757) regions to explore the growth and future of Virginia’s I-64 Innovation Corridor megaregion. The event featured keynote talks and panel discussions on powering data through evolving energy infrastructure, connecting data with modern digital networks, building a cyber-ready regional hub, and ensuring inclusive access to digital resources. The Global Internet Hub Vision 2035 was introduced, showcasing how the I-64 Innovation Corridor will stand as the world’s leading Global Internet Hub.
