On Work-Life Synchronicity
“Born in Italy, I was only five years old when my family immigrated to Canada. My family maintained their Italian heritage through cooking traditional Italian dishes with each meal. The secret to my mother’s recipes lies in the ingredients—just like it’s essential for me to ensure the best product is available to my customers.”
On Global Product Standardization
“For true globalization to be successful across the product set, it is very important to factor in the localization or the regionalization aspect. When I am working with my team in gathering requirements, it is always a balancing act of consistency in product definition with catering to the local market conditions and customer requirements. Although many of our customers are truly global—and they expect the same class of service no matter where they are in the world—their infrastructure may reside across various geographies with varying needs. So, that balancing act between globalization and an appropriate level of localization is very important.”
